The hotel is in a convenient location, ideal and easy to find. The rooms are clean and comfy, but a bit small for special accommodations. The service is outstanding, with very attentive staff. The dining experience varies, with delicious options but occasional letdowns. The overall value for money is good considering the facilities and amenities provided.

The hotel's location is excellent for our purposes, despite the constant noise from the busy road and entertaining area below our room. The service was lovely, although they seem to take advantage of being the only bar in the area. The dining experience was mostly excellent, marred only by a delay on my last morning. However, the locally sourced food was exceptional. The lack of curtains in the rooms was a downside for me.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were above the noisy outside seating area and bar entrance, as well as the busy main road, leading to constant noise disturbances while trying to sleep. The lack of curtains added to the discomfort with the light from streetlights penetrating the room. Additionally, the window was found fully open at one stage, a fire safety violation that I had to address personally, reducing the overall comfort level.
Service
8.0
The service at the hotel was lovely, with friendly and attentive staff throughout my stay. However, I felt that they might be leveraging their position as the only bar in the area for their benefit.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location in south Glasgow was excellent and fully occupied due to the good weather on my stay. It was convenient for the places we intended to visit, located in a nice and safe area despite being on a busy road. There were some nice pubs across the road, catering to everyone's needs, including vegetarians and children.
Dining
9.0
The dining experience was generally fantastic, with an exceptional culinary display that stood out among my hotel stays over the past eight years. The locally sourced food, cooking, and presentation were outstanding, making it a memorable experience overall. However, there was a slight disappointment on my last morning when the service took longer than expected.

The hotel provides good facilities overall.
